Billing

Getting Started

CrestlineTech provides two primary integration methods: SMTP relay and the REST API. Both require valid API credentials issued during onboarding. Domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is a prerequisite for account activation.

Prerequisites

Before you can begin sending, your account must have:

  • Completed identity verification and account approval
  • At least one sending domain configured with valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
  • Agreed to the CrestlineTech Acceptable Use Policy
  • Issued API credentials from the client dashboard

SMTP Configuration

Configure your application's SMTP client with the following settings. All connections must use TLS; plain-text SMTP is not supported.

TLS is mandatory. Connections without TLS will be rejected. Port 25 is not available to client accounts. Only authenticated, encrypted connections on ports 587 or 465 are accepted.

REST API — Send a Message

The REST API accepts JSON payloads over HTTPS. Authenticate using Bearer token authentication with your API key.

Domain Authentication

All sending domains must have valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records before the account is activated. Our onboarding team will verify your DNS configuration as part of the approval process.

All SMTP connections require TLS 1.2 or higher, with TLS 1.3 preferred. Plain-text connections are rejected at the infrastructure level. API connections are HTTPS-only with HSTS enforced.

Data Security

How We Handle Your Data

We apply data minimisation principles throughout our platform. Message content is not stored beyond operational necessity. Log data is retained for 90 days by default, configurable on Enterprise plans.
